The Riu Palace Tropical Bay is located on one of Negril’s most picturesque beaches, the famous Bloody Bay Beach. While you’ll find varying stories of a dark past, ranging from pirates to whale hunting that turned the sea red, that lend to the beach’s intriguing name, Bloody Beach nowadays entices beach lovers with it’s beauty. No longer a secret, this once secluded stretch of white sand is home to several popular all-inclusive resorts and is lined with bars, cafes and restaurants.
The Victorian styled Riu Palace Tropical Bay is one of the best ways to relax on Bloody Bay. This all-inclusive/24 hour inclusive property includes two fresh water swimming pools, a solarium terrace, gym, Jacuzzi, sauna, the “Renova Spa” wellness centre and an amazing stretch of beach where sun worshipers can enjoy a frosty drink and turquoise water. The 24h All Inclusive plan gives you the opportunity to sample yummy, chef prepared Jamaican cuisine in the buffet restaurant or delicious menus in the resorts themed restaurants. Riu Palace Tropical Bay’s entertainment program offers something for guests of all ages. Enjoy endless activities as a family, couple or with friends. The complex includes two tennis courts, table tennis, a gym, volleyball, windsurfing, sailing, snorkelling, kayaking, bodyboarding, diving and other water activities. Non-motorized water sports are included, however, diving and other motorized options do cary a nominal charge. In the evening dance the night away to the best Jamaican beats in the “Pacha” club.
Of course, while the resort is amazing and you’ll never want to leave, Negril offers a plethora of activities for travelers like excursions to the thermal springs of Rhodes, Hall Plantation, the crowded Seven Mile Beach, The Great Morass where you can see endemic birds and American crocodiles, or Roaring River, a cave where you can swim and see harmless bats. Golfers can play the Negril Hills course. You can also enjoy cycling, bird watching and breath taking cliff divers in Negril.

Please note that rates above are per adult/child for the indicated type of rooms and indicated total number of room nights. Rates are resort only and include all of included items mentioned below as well as round-trip ground transfers between Montego Bay airport and the resort, taxes and gratuities. Flights can be added at any time. Final payment is due 75 days prior to departure. A $50 per person late payment fee will be added to payments made after 70 days prior to departure. The initial deposit is nonrefundable after January 20, 2015 and other cancellation penalties may apply for rooms not paid in full by 75 days prior to departure. Please ask an agent for details.
