Croatia by Yacht – May 26-June 2, 2024
Our small group luxury sailing, Croatia by Yacht will offer an incredible, once in a lifetime Mediterranean experience! On this unforgettable journey between Split and Dubrovnik we will view the stunning landscapes, charming coastal towns and pristine islands that decorate the Dalmatian Coast.
Our voyage begins in Split where we will explore the impressive Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and take in the sights and sounds of the iconic Riva Promenade. From Split we will head south, sailing on the azure waters past a myriad of enchanting islands.
Along our route we’ll encounter towns and fishing villages that provide us a glimpse into Croatia’s rich maritime heritage. We’ll visit Hvar, known for its vibrant nightlife, historic architecture, and picturesque lavender fields. Our stop in Vis offers secluded coves, pristine beaches, and ancient ruins, and the fascinating Blue Cave. This port is perfect for a dive excursion for any interested divers in our group. Next we’ll venture on to Korčula, the birthplace of the legendary explorer Marco Polo, featuring charming medieval streets and renowned white wine.
Over the course of our sailing we’ll see rugged cliffs, hidden coves, and crystal-clear waters where we’ll drop anchor, hoist the slide and enjoy afternoons filled with snorkeling, swimming and water sports as we bask in the warm Adriatic sun. Evenings can be spent stargazing or enjoying the Symphony’s cinema.
Our journey culminates in the stunning city of Dubrovnik, often referred to as the “Pearl of the Adriatic.” Dubrovnik’s Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring well-preserved medieval architecture, marble streets, and historic landmarks such as the City Walls and Rector’s Palace. We’ll enjoy 2 nights in Dubrovnik’s where we’ll have the opportunity to explore the city’s cultural treasures, dine in waterfront restaurants, and savor the enchanting ambiance of this coastal gem.
