Pack your bags and grab your sunscreen- we are Costa Rica bound!! We cannot wait to celebrate our wedding day with all of you in beautiful Costa Rica! We first visited the country in the summer of 2016 and completely fell in love. We knew it was the perfect location for our wedding and are so excited to be able to bring our closest friends and family back to see why we love it so much. We feel so blessed to be able to share this experience with each and every one of you and truly appreciate you making the trip to celebrate our special day with us. It’s been 10 years in the making… get ready to party!!!
Westin Playa Conchal
Our wedding resort, the Westin Golf Resort and Spa Playa Conchal, is located on Costa Rica’s magnificent North-Pacific Riviera and nestled between lush forests and the sparkling waters of the Pacific Ocean. The Westin is conveniently located 45 minutes from Liberia International Airport and was the first all-inclusive resort in Costa Rica. This resort will offer something for all of our friends and family from activities and adventure, to fine dining, to just relaxing.
The resort is set on 2,400 acres with a lagoon-style pool, lush gardens, modern work-out facilities, tennis courts and a championship golf course. There is the Westin Kids Club® for our youngest guest’s entertainment. With THE SPA it will be impossible to not relax when you indulge in one of their many luxury treatments. Adult guests who opt to upgrade their stay to the Royal Club can enjoy Bali beds by the pool or personalized concierge services at the Royal Beach Club (Royal Club is adults-only).
We know we have adventure lovers in our group too and you will not be disappointed when you explore one of the nearby Costa Rican national parks. Costa Rica is an adventure lover’s paradise!
Resort Accommodations
In our resort room block we are currently holding the Deluxe Jr. Suite room category for our guests. If there is another type of room or suite you are interested in, or if you would prefer the adults-only Royal Club, Leslie will be able to price and book alternate room options for guests upon request. Deluxe Jr. Suites have a maximum occupancy of 4 people.

Deluxe Junior Suites offer a living area, the Westin Heavenly Bed®, Heavenly Bath® amenities. Garden view from your private terrace or balcony, LCD TV, iHome, complimentary internet access, daily stocked mini-bar, coffeemaker, phone, safe, A/C and ceiling fan, iron and ironing board, and hair dryer. Deluxe Jr. Suites are 538 square feet.

Booking Your Flights
You have several options when it comes to booking your air to Costa Rica. If you need assistance in booking your flight, Leslie would be happy to help. Simply provide us your departure city, travel dates and traveler names as they appear on your passport and leave the flight searching up to her.
You may also book your own flight or use your airline miles to save on air expenses. The airport code you will fly into is LIR. If you book your flight on your own, you will need to provide Leslie your arrival and departure flight itinerary so that she can confirm your arrival and departure with the ground transportation company in Costa Rica.
Please note that when booking your flights, it is mandatory that your flight passenger names and date of birth are a direct match to your passport names. Please verify that your passport will be valid and unexpired for 6 months past when you travel.

Travel Insurance
For the base 4-night resort stay, the cost of the travel protection is $79.00/pp. The cost will go up with more nights added or if you add flights to your package with Dreams and Destinations. Leslie will be able to give you exact pricing for your package upon request. Please note that insurance will only cover flights if the are booked as part of your resort package. In many cases the cost of insurance is less than the cost of penalties for cancellation. Travel insurance must be purchased when submitting your initial deposit and is NONREFUNDABLE/NONTRANSFERABLE once paid on the reservation.
