Cancellation/Change Penalties

Client has been made aware of cancellation/change penalties and dates penalties go into effect. Client chooses to continue with their reservation at this time, aware of risk of penalties should they not be able to commence travel.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is not automatically included in your package. Cancellation of your trip due to COVID-19 in most cases is not covered by travel insurers. Travel insurance will often cover for cancellation due to medical treatment of COVID-19 and should cover if you need medical treatment in destination due to COVID-19. If you are interested in purchasing travel insurance for your trip you may view Travel Guard Policies using the link below.

Force Majuere clauses, included in most travel insurance policies, often state insurers will not cover cancellation or events related to epidemics and pandemics. Additionally State Department travel advisories and warnings may also affect coverages by insurers. Client understands that they are bound by the terms of the insurance policy as it relates to COVID-19. It is the client’s responsibility to review their policy and submit questions to the travel insurance company directly regarding policy coverages related to travel advisories and COVID-19.

Insurance is highly recommended as travel suppliers, airlines and resorts often charge fees for trip change/cancellation after payment has been made. Dreams and Destinations Travel Agency is not responsible for penalties, fees or expenses related to COVID-19, or other events should you change/ cancel your trip. Or incur medical expenses during the course of travel. The cost of insurance is nonrefundable and insurance policies are non-transferable.
